Refund Policy

This Refund Policy is incorporated into the Terms of Use and applies to paid access to Aeliana services. If a mandatory law gives you rights that conflict with this policy, that mandatory law controls.

1. Scope

This policy applies to paid subscriptions and paid add-ons sold for Aeliana services.
It distinguishes between direct web billing and third-party billing channels.

2. Direct Web Billing

Direct web purchases are billed by Aeliana or its payment processor.
You can cancel at any time to stop future renewals.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period unless checkout terms state otherwise.

3. Third-Party Billing Channels

If your purchase was made through a third-party billing channel (including app stores), that channel controls refund and cancellation mechanics for that transaction.
Aeliana cannot override third-party channel decisions for purchases billed by that channel.

4. Non-Refundable Fees

Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable once the paid billing period starts and service access is enabled.
Except where required by law, we do not provide credits or prorated refunds for partial billing periods, unused time, inactivity, or account closure during an active period.

5. Refund Exceptions

Where required by applicable law, we provide the legally required remedy.
We may issue a refund for a duplicate charge, unauthorized transaction, or a material billing error confirmed by our billing records.
Any voluntary refund outside legal requirements is discretionary and does not create an ongoing obligation to issue future discretionary refunds.

6. Refund Method and Timing

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method where supported by the payment rail.
No cash or paper-check refunds are issued.
After approval, Aeliana initiates the refund promptly. Final posting time depends on the payment provider and your financial institution.

7. Non-Reversible Payment Rails

If a payment rail does not support reversal to the original source, we will use a lawful alternative remedy if one is required.
Where no legal refund right applies and no reversal is supported by the rail, the charge is final.

8. Policy Changes

We may update this policy for legal, operational, or product reasons.
Updates apply prospectively unless required otherwise by law.
